John Mann’s questions to George Osborne at this afternoon’s Treasury Select Committee meeting on the Autumn Statement revealed:

-          George Osborne is running scared of a fall in the UK’s AAA status and has refused to resign if it happens.

-          George Osborne hasn’t a clue about Working Tax Credits.

Mann commented “George Osborne answers revealed that he has no answers to questions on Working Tax Credits  and will refuse to take any responsibility should our economy go belly up and we lose our AAA status.  This is a Chancellor who needs to get a grip on reality now before it’s too late”.
