    New Tesco

The MaltkinsTesco have announced plans to increase the size of their new store to be built on the Clinton Maltkins site. The proposals - which will see the new car park joining the busy A60 Carlton Road / Blyth Road / Turner Road junction just north of the railway crossing - have been objected to by the Nottinghamshire Highways Department, who are developing a new traffic assessment for the even bigger store.

What do you think? Is Bassetlaw District Council right to allow a major new development on this already busy junction? Should we be building on green spaces at the heart of our town? Let John know what you think!

The photo above shows the proposed site for the new, now even larger, Tesco development.
