Help for Hero's charity walkers Luke Hewgill and Christopher Maule completed their 22 mile yomp through the snow yesterday (Sunday 10 January) arriving at Retford War memorial just after 3pm.
The two lad's walked from Doncaster to Retford each carrying a full British Army field kit weighing 55lbs (24kgs) to help raise money for the Help for Heroes Charity.
They invited John Mann, MP for Bassetlaw to meet them when reached their target and he was delighted to join them at Retford war memorial. John was very pleased to congratulate them on their commitment and hard work and said "Both Luke and Christopher set themselves a big task but their sponsored walk was made even more difficult due to the arduous snowy conditions.
"I was delighted to be invited to welcome them on their arrival into Retford and wish to congratulate Luke and Christopher on their achievement and for supporting such a worthy cause that's close to the hearts of most British people"
