John Mann, Member of Parliament for Bassetlaw has welcomed Nottinghamshire Police's announcement that police numbers are to increase by 80 in this area.

On hearing the announcement John Mann said "In December I raised my concerns with the Prime Minister over the low police numbers in this area and I am very pleased to see this very quick response to the situation.

"More police out on our streets is exactly what's needed to cut crime and anti-social behaviour."
