• Car Clamping Company Operating in Retford
  John Mann is keen that local residents are aware of a company operating a car clamping business that has been operating around Retford's town centre. Midlands Clamping Company has been clamping cars that are parked on private land. Some drivers have been using the places for years and have been shocked to return to their cars to find them clamped. People who have had their cars clamped have found that Midlands Clamping Company are charging £125 to release the car and will only accept cash saying that their card machine is broken. • Summer Holidays are Here.....and Bassetlaw Closes
  This summer holiday sees both Notts County Council and Bassetlaw District Council have set themselves on collision course with young people and their parents. Notts County Council are closing Worksop Library from 2nd August until 20th September when they will open the new library and Bassetlaw District Council is withdrawing its free swimming scheme at the end of this week. • Results of Bassetlaw's Labour Leadership Primary Announced
  Bassetlaw Constituency Labour Party Rod Pickford Secretary, The Labour Hall, New St, Retford. DN22 6EG Bassetlaw Labour Party decided to consult members and Labour voters to decide which candidate for the Labour Leadership should be nominated by Bassetlaw Labour Party. The Party distributed ballot papers to members and known Labour voters via post (both by Royal Mail and by hand delivery) and on John Mann's website. There was a 32% return.
